Joliet Physical Therapy hosts Open House

Beartooth Billings Clinic’s Joliet Physical Therapy team and the Beartooth Billings Clinic Foundation (Foundation) are co-hosting an Open House Saturday, Dec. 2 in conjunction with the Joliet Community Center Art & Craft Fair from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. During the Open House, guests will be able to walk through the newly remodeled Physical Therapy gym made possible through generous funding from the Foundation as well as meet the Physical Therapy staff and Foundation board members.
“We are excited about our new space as it allows us to continue to progress our treatment scope and ability to care for a wider range of patients,” commented Derek Stiegemeier, Beartooth’s Director of Rehabilitation. “Our new gym expansion enables us to better serve the community of Joliet.  In addition to the newly remodeled space, we have updated and added new equipment and patient care areas for better patient assessment and treatment.”
Joliet Physical Therapy’s recent remodel was paid for through the Foundation, the fundraising arm of Beartooth. “Over the past three years the Foundation has supported just over $10,000 in upgrades to the Joliet Physical Therapy Department,” noted Sara Urbanik, Executive Director of the Foundation. “We are proud to have helped expand the space and purchase new equipment to better the health of the patients seen at this department of Beartooth Billings Clinic.”
The public is invited to join Joliet Physical Therapy staff Amy Hummel, MSPT; Jody Jones, DPT; Carol Haines PTA and Derek Stiegemeier, DPT, Beartooth’s Director of Rehabilitation, in the gym during the Art & Craft Fair to share recent advances in physical therapy and answer questions. Snacks and beverages will be available at the free event. The Joliet Community Center and Joliet Physical Therapy are located at 209 E Front Street in Joliet.
