Lady Rams win Silver bracket at Huntley

The Red Lodge Lady Rams won the Silver Bracket at the Coaches Classic in Huntley over the weekend beating Three Forks.

On their way they defeated Absarokee 25-20, 25-8.The team had 16 assists Bailey Binando claiming 14 of them. There were 19 kills, Kitrie Frank on 8 and Liddia Fontaine on 4 with Macelyn Lauritzen getting 13 digs.

Next up were Three Forks in the Championship game which Red Lodge won in 3 25-13, 23-25, 15-10. There were 19 assists with Binando on 18. Binando also got 8 digs along with Fontaine. In kills Fontaine also got 11 and 2 aces. 

Earlier in the week Red Lodge defeated Shepherd 25-19, 21-25, 25-17, 25-14. 

The Lady Rams took control fairly quickly in the 1st set zooming into a 16-3 lead but wobbled slightly to let Shepherd get back to within 5 points prior to putting the hammer down and taking the set 25-19. 

Buoyed by this Shepherd came back to take the 2nd set but the effort clearly exhausted them as they let the final set fall easily into Red Lodge’s hands. 

The Rams faced a total of 97 digs with Lauritizen claiming 31 and Binando 19.  Binando also got 22 kills and 2 aces along with Fontaine.

The team had 32 kills with Emmalia Sager on 9 and Fontaine 7.
