It was kind of slow week for the Lady Scouts, just two matches this past week.  They hosted Belfry on Tuesday.  The Scouts came away with a three set sweep, 25-7, 25-14, 25-10.  Saturday the girls visited the Absarokee Huskies, again a three set sweep, 25-9, 25-13, 25-21.  These games allow some of the non-starters some valuable playing time.

This week is a busy one, three days, three games. The ladies host Park City on Thursday, they are a spunky bunch, and it should be fun to watch.  Thursday is Senior Night, a fitting send off to our seniors; this will be their last appearance on home court.  On Friday, Roy/Winifred will visit them, by all accounts a good team, who expect to go far in the post season. Saturday the Scouts will head up the interstate to Custer, it will be interesting to see their new gym.

It doesn’t seem possible but in two weeks volleyball will be in the District Tournaments.  In five weeks a new state champ will be decided, lets hope that our Lady Scouts have a decisive say in that matter.

Bridger lead the 4C volleyball standings with 13 points and an overall record of 15-3.
