After a courageous and inspirational fight since suffering a traumatic brain injury on June 5, 2012, Logan joined his heavenly Father and savior Jesus on July 10, 2018. He was enjoying his daily mountain bike ride in the Ozarks when he had a seizure and took his last peaceful breaths with his parents by his side.

Logan loved his three precious sons with all that he had. They were his entire life and he devoted every day, every moment and prayer to them. His boys know him as adventurous and intellectual, a lover of people and conversation, always loving and never giving up on anything! Janine knows him as brave, with no fear of anything. He was the family prayer warrior.

Logan leaves behind, with whom he’ll be reunited in heaven, his three sons Korbin Gene Johnson, Gunnar Rutledge Johnson, Oliver Michael Johnson and their mother Janine Lynn Johnson, his wife from May 2000 to December 2017 and caretaker from 2012 to 2017. He also leaves his parents Bill and Lisa Johnson who were his caretakers in 2017 and 2018, his siblings Katie and Brandon Schubert, Brian Johnson, Annie and Ryan McCormick, Alex and Melissa Johnson, Will Johnson, Luke and Mary Johnson, as well as many extended family members, adoring and inspired friends and community.

Logan wrote this prayer in a message to Janine for the boys Sunday, July 8, 2018: “Agree our lives took a hard left turn years ago, however, we are and we will recover in Jesus’ name. Jesus sits at God’s right side and prays for us, he knows all our needs and desires… like the boys’ happiness!!! That is my prayer for the boys’ hearts and for their relationship with Jesus, and with you and I, Janine.”

Late this summer in Red Lodge there will be a celebration of life to honor Logan’s journey.

Contributions to Logan’s sons’ education fund may be made at Bank of Red Lodge.
