Opioid and substance abuse are major issues in Montana, affecting families, friends, neighbors and communities. BCBSMT believes a state-wide opportunity for conversations and education on these topics is warranted. As the state’s largest insurer, BCBSMT has recently embarked on several internal initiatives to help curb substance abuse. Additionally, BCBSMT is working together with state agencies, legislators and community leaders to make a meaningful difference in the lives of Montanans by supporting proactive policies to promote both prevention and treatment efforts.
