Red Lodge’s new police officer Jordan Webb has his badge placed on his uniform by his father, Tom Webb at City Hall, Feb. 4. Officer Webb was sworn in by City Judge Raphael He Does It. Officer Webb lives in Red Lodge with his wife, Rensey and daughter. He worked for Yellowstone County Sheriff’s Office as a detention officer for 14 months before taking the Montana Law Enforcement Testing Consortium that resulted in being hired by the Red Lodge police department. He is originally from the area and went to Billings West High. Five generations of family were there to see the ceremony including Webb’s granddad Ed and Great Granddad Elmer. The family has been in Carbon County since 1919. Red Lodge Police Chief Jason Wells said he was very thankful there were this many people here to support him.

“It takes a family, a support system to be successful in this career,” said Wells.
