Five families in July were welcomed to Red Lodge by Linda Fisher of the Red Lodge Newcomers Service. Each one received a welcome packet, compliments of some of the local business community. Please welcome these new families:

Julie and William Entenmann recently moved here from the Sacramento area. William is a 2005 Red Lodge graduate and has family in the area. They were just recently married. William was a marine engineer on a ship in the Gulf of Mexico and then an aerospace engineer in California. Julie is from the Sacramento area where she was a household and office manager for a construction company. They are starting a new rental house management firm here in Red Lodge, plus both do professional photography. Julie and William enjoy most outdoor activities from floating the river, hiking, camping, biking, riding motorcycles and downhill skiing in the winter.

Megan and Stephen Kalb-Koenigsfeld moved here from Big Timber, but are originally from Iowa. Megan was the marketing coordinator for Livingston Health Care and Stephen was the editor/publisher for Big Timber Pioneer. Megan was recently hired in marketing for Red Lodge Ales and Stephen was hired as the non-profit director at The Red Lodge Area Community Foundation. They have two dogs, Reed a border collie lab mix and Jack a sheltie. They both like to hike, fish and camp and hope to try downhill and nordic skiing this winter.

Kamila Kudelska and Walter Clapp moved here from Washington D.C. where Walter worked for a law firm. Kamila received her masters in journalism in New York City. Several years ago Walter decided to build a log cabin on the Stillwater which their families love to use. Kamila is a media journalist for Wyoming Public Schools, working out of Cody and Walter works for Tom Singer-Axilon Law Group in Billings. Walter had met Tom a couple years ago at Tippet Rise. Kamila and Walter both enjoy hiking, biking, camping, and downhill skiing, plus Walter likes to play golf and squash. They are both excited about living in Red Lodge, being able to walk everywhere and they love the people here.

Wendi and Andy Lehman have recently purchased a second home here in Red Lodge and have family in the area. They are from a suburb of Los Angeles. Wendi used to drive motorhomes for a studio in Burbank and is now retired. Andy is semi-retired as a building contractor with Wimer Construction. They have two sons and a daugher: one lives in Malibu, California, is a professional stuntman, and has two sons; the other son lives in Kingsburg, California and is a farmer and has two daughters and a son; and their daughter is a teacher and has two sons and one daughter. Wendi and Andy like to fish, hike, raft and ride motorcycles (Andy is an adventure rider), plus he likes to go hunting.

Mary Jo Masters and James Chittick moved here from New Bern, North Carolina and had lived in Puerto Rico and Reno for a while too. They had been looking all over the west for somewhere to move to and fell in love with Red Lodge. Mary Jo had been a 6-7th grade math and science teacher and is currently working as a patient access specialist at the Beartooth Billings Clinic. James has been a home inspection professional and builder and is currently busy remodeling their house. Their daughter is attending graduate school at Western Michigan. They have a chihuahua called Stitch. They like to go rafting, atving, scuba diving, and downhill skiing. James has been involved with the civic theatre and Mary Jo with making costumes and are hoping to get involved with the theatre here in Red Lodge.

Please note: anyone new to Red Lodge who would like to receive a free Welcome Packet or if you would like to be a business sponsor may do so by contacting Linda Fisher, Red Lodge Newcomers Service at 425-2626.
