Peggy Sue (Granger) Elisoff, born on June 25, 1958 in Greeley, Colorado, passed unexpectedly on September 3, 2018 at St.Vincent Hospital in Billings.

Peggy is preceded in death by her parents; her mother, Darlene Kirkpatrick Granger, and her father, Alfred Granger; as well as her brother John, and sister, Ginny.  She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Michael Lee Elisoff.  They met in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho through mutual friends and he patiently waited for her.  Then on December 11, 1981 he asked for her hand in marriage.

Peggy and Michael made Joliet, MT their home.  Mike was Peggy’s everything.  The only thing she loved more than him was God.  Peggy was an active member of the Church of Christ in Red Lodge.  She had an incredible taste for fashion and loved shoes, sunglasses, necklaces and cars.   She enjoyed Bible studies and helping out in any way she could.

Peggy saw the positive in everything she did, but despite this she never did anything to glorify herself, but did it because she loved others and God above herself.  She had a deep affection for animals and all living things.  Peggy once stopped her car while traveling to save a tarantula on the side of the road.  We are all better people for having had her in our lives.  Peggy once said, “I am a miracle baby.  I was very sick as a baby and shouldn’t be here, but here I am.  You have to live life to the fullest.”

John 11:25 says “Jesus said to her, I am the Resurrection and the life.  The one who believes in me will live, even though they die.”

Michael Elisoff and friends would like to invite you to celebrate the life of Peggy at 1:00 p.m. Friday, September 14 at the Church of Christ at 1010 White Ave. South in Red Lodge.  Burial will follow at the Joliet Cemetery.  Following the graveside service, please come and fellowship with us at the community center in Joliet. (209 East Front Ave.)
