Pumpkins art show to be held

The Fromberg Art Club students are really connecting their Art with their community by helping to decorate the town and even painting some unique pumpkins for the Fromberg Pumpkin patch that is destined to add a festive touch to their hometown. The Fromberg Beautification Committee provided wooden rounds for the students to decorate. The students were asked to list things that they connect with the community, emotions, and self to incorporate into a design for their unique pumpkin. They hope to have them on display this week! Keep your eyes peeled around town for the great Pumpkin Patch arrival.

The Art club announces the first annual “Strut Your Stuff Art Show and Bazaar” and welcome all Carbon County Art students to bring your creative wonders and work on site. While displaying your work in the Art Show is free, you must provide your display/easels and supervise your work and sales. Adult Valley Artists “Strut Your S tuff” for $5 for up to 6 pieces of work, you must provide your display/easels and supervise your work and sales.

Students hope to raise funds to purchase better grades of art supplies, new media, possibly a pottery wheel, clay, plasma cutter tips, sculpting materials, oils… the list goes on and on. All donations of new and used supplies are welcome, no matter the condition! Help have a positive impact on our youth; think about donating your old supplies to our afterschool Art Club Program. Previous donations have helped to supply the Art Club program, and build a positive and safe environment for kids to create. There will be a box at the door to collect any art media donations; please attach your name and address so our students can properly thank you for your generous gifts.
