Red Lodge gears up for Stroll

Red Lodge’s annual Christmas Stroll will take place, Nov. 30 – Dec. 1 from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. 

Friday, Nov. 30:

5 p.m.: Blue Light Ceremony at the Beartooth Elks (114 N. Broadway) to honor fallen MT police officers.

5:30 p.m.: Community Lantern Walk down Broadway.

5:30 p.m.: Blade Parade line-up at the library.

6:00 p.m.: The Blade Parade starts rolling, plowing and shoveling its way from the library towards the south. Prizes are awarded to decorated vehicles/persons equipped with snow removing blades. The downtown businesses are open until 9 p.m.

6 – 8 p.m.: Alte Kameraden Band playing at the Carbon County Steakhouse.

6 – 7:30 p.m.: Red Lodge dancers perform in windows of Red Lodge Drug.

6:30 – 8:30 p.m.: Santa will be at the Beartooth Elks (114 N. Broadway) to welcome children and hear their wish lists.

7 p.m.: Absaroka Mountain Thunder Cloggers perform near Flash’s.

Saturday, Dec. 1:

5:30 p.m.: Christmas Costume Parade line-up at the library.

6:00 p.m.: The Christmas Costume Parade begins strolling south on Broadway. Anyone who wishes to dress in Christmas themed costumes can participate and prizes will be awarded. The downtown businesses are open until 9 p.m.

6:30 – 8:30 p.m.: Santa will be at the Beartooth Elks (114 N. Broadway) to welcome children and hear their wish lists.

7 p.m.: Red Lodge Dancers at Red Lodge School of Dance.

The Beartooth Wagon & Sleigh Rides will be offering free rides both evenings from 6:30 p.m. – 9 p.m.
