Red Lodge High School seniors Corby Mann and Elijah Reynolds have signed to rival colleges as they advance their football careers. Reynolds is heading to join the MSU-Bozeman Bobcats while Mann is opting for the University of Montana Griz. Both players went through high school playing for the Rams together and will now face each other in one of the biggest rivalries in Montana College football history known as ‘The Brawl of the Wild’, the winner of which gets to take home the Great Divide Trophy.
Neither player seemed too worried about the prospect of squaring off, with both saying it’ll be a “fun” experience.
“It is going to fun to be able to play against him,” said Mann, “then come back to Red Lodge and get back together and be buddies.”
“It’s cool, we’re both happy for each other. It’s fun. Seeing where we both came from, it’s definitely been a dream for both of us,” said Reynolds.
Mann is pursuing a degree in business and graphic design with Reynolds looking at technical and civil engineering.
