Renaissance Fest draws 8,000

The Renaissance Festival held at the Red Lodge Rodeo Grounds last week- end drew up to 8,000 visi- tors according to Sherry Weamer, Executive Direc- tor of the Red Lodge Chamber of Commerce.“It was a fantastic event! Very low impact and very Fun folks,” said Weamer.Coming along at the same weekend as the Music Festival, restaurants in town were reported to be “incredibly busy” said Weamer with many local stores enjoying the windfall while the Beartooth Pass remains closed as of June 6.
