Walking the halls of the Roberts Elementary school you can catch the African rhythm beats of the youngsters using the new Sonor Global Beat instruments purchased for the Roberts Music department courtesy of the Roberts Parents for Performing Arts and the Seidman Foundation.
Salina Koerper, Roberts’ Music teacher, helped orchestrate the purchase of these instruments.  “I decided that the barred instruments were going to benefit the most students and I use them daily with all of the grade levels.  Thanks so much!! The kids are loving the instruments so much and I feel that they have already enhanced our learning! Such an awesome addition to our room!!” stated Mrs. Koerper.
“We thank the Seidman Foundation for their belief and support these past years.  And all the persons and businesses who have unfailingly supported RPPA through our annual Birthday Calendar,” stated Elta Ayre, RPPA member.   “In its 30 years of existence, RPPA has brought over $92,000 into the Roberts School and community promoting the Arts.  However, all good things eventually come to an end.  This was a final gift to the school from the RPPA.
A big thank you goes out to Jahna White, Debbie Hogan, Susie Nardinger for the time and energy they invested in this group!”
