Ronald B. Cooper (1942-2018)

Ronald Cooper, 76 of Roberts, Montana, passed away peacefully in his sleep in the early morning hours of Nov. 23, 2018.

Born on Sept. 16, 1942 in Napa, California to Ernest and Doris Cooper, Ron grew up in Independence, Missouri, and Sonoma, California.

Ron was an auto mechanic by trade and even after being injured in 1979 he would still work on cars for friends and family, everyone would bring their cars for Coop to work on.

After having a daughter in a previous relationship, In 1968 he married Karen Scroggins, the marriage lasted 5 years and produced 3 children. Then in 1975 he married the love of his life Connie Woodmansee, a union that would produce 4 children and lasted until he took his final breath. 

Ron is preceded in death by his parents Ernest and Doris, brothers Gerry and Don and sisters, Caroline and Suzie. He is survived by 2 brothers, Jim of Oregon and Rick of Colorado, his loving wife of 43 years Connie Cooper, 8 children Cherri Stuck of Santa Rosa, California, Tammie (Jack) Welence of Brentwood, California, Doris (Larry) Patterson of Savannah, Georgia, Ron Jr. (Marie) of Cape Gerard, Missouri, Bill (Mandi) Cooper of Roberts, Montana, April (Chris) Atcosta of Portola, California, Tim (Erica) Cooper of Roberts, Montana, and Steve (Gloria) Cooper of Reno, Nevada, 28 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. 

Rest easy Dad, we all love you and will meet again someday but until we do, your legacy will live on in all your children and grandchildren.
