Stanley Repac

Stanley Repac was born in Red Lodge, Montana, on Nov. 15, 1933 to Tony and Mary Repac.

He attended school in Red Lodge and was the last graduate from Carbon County High School in 1951, an honor he held closely in his heart. He furthered his education at Rocky Mountain College with a BS Degree in Philosophy and History with Summa Cum Laude. He later attended the University of Wisconsin for his Master’s Degree again with Summa Cum Laude. Upon returning home he joined the teaching staff at Rocky Mountain College. After two years he was forced into retirement due to vision problems that steadily became worse with age.
Our brother was a gentleman in every sense of the word. He was kind and gentle, with a heart of gold. Since his work was cut short he took on caring for our mother and did a wonderful job at it.

We wish to thank the staff at Cedarwood in Red Lodge for their loving care, the hospice staff, the staff at Beartooth Hospital, and Dr. George, you are all so wonderful.

Stanley passed away Oct. 15, 2017 at Cedarwood Villa in Red Lodge. He is preceded in death by his parents, five sisters, one brother, and two sister-in-laws; Dorothy Lou wife of Bob and Joan wife of Pete.

He is survived by his three brothers Robert “Bob” and Pete Repac both of Billings and Emil Repac of Red Lodge.

There will be no services planned. A private interment will take place at the Red Lodge Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the Shrine Transportation Fund for Children, c/o Al Bedoo Shrine, 1125 Broadwater Ave., Billings, MT 59102. Smith-Olcott Chapel is handling arrangments.
