The skies the limit when it comes to savings and the Carnegie Library of Red Lodge took a leap and joined the city’s Solarize project and installed some solar panels last week. Despite being founded in 1914, the library is showing itself to be current with the times. If the mission of the Red Lodge Carnegie Library is to “engage our community with 21st Century materials, services, and technology to enhance literacy, civic, educational, and cultural opportunities”, then an alternative energy educational opportunity that also saves money and lowers the carbon footprint like this project cannot be beat.
