Theater camp announced

Thursday, February 13, 2020

The Red Lodge Theater Company is sponsoring a spring theater camp. Three sessions will be taught and there is no charge for any of the classes.

However the class-size is limited to 12 students.

The first session will take place from 3:45 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. every Tuesday and Thursday for six weeks. The session is open to fourth and fifth graders. The second session that will start at 4:45 p.m. and end at 5:45 p.m. is open to middle school students. Each of the sessions will concentrate on five elements of drama- observation, concentration, sensory recall, emotions, and character development. Hopefully, at the end of the camp, the students will perform a presentation for the public.

The last session is for teenagers and adults. It takes place Tuesdays only from 6:15 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. All these classes will involve drama games, improv, and scene studies.

Guynema Terry will teach the classes. She is a well-known Red Lodge actor with over 40 years of theater experience. The classes will be held in the Roosevelt center. Please contact Terry at (406) 425-1950 to sign up.
