Shallow and Naive

To the Editor,
In response to the letter by Gary Robson re: The NDR Resolution

Are you really so shallow and naive to actually believe the words you wrote?
I find it very strange to go around Red Lodge and find several Churches of all denominations yet you pick one, COTR, "Church of the Rockies."
Those Churches that are true Christian churches uphold simply their beliefs in the Biblical scriptures from their God. One being that it states very, very clearly in the Bible that any form of homosexuality is an abomination.
Therefore any person or any group or any government, etc. allowing this and accepting this is also a part of that abomination by its acceptance.
I am unaware of your religious beliefs or practices but if you claim to be a Christian then the act alone of even supporting such a resolution NDR is showing acceptance knowingly aware that it has been made clear that it is wrong and an abomination in the eyes of the Lord.
Really has this country lowered itself to this level and forgetting God in our daily lives?
Admittedly every person has a right to act or believe what they will as God gave us all free will to choose.
However that does not mean that we must or have to accept or condone LGBT.
Or have it thrust upon us as individuals or as a community.
Example; if a LGBT person wishes to come into my store as a customer that is fine and would be treated as any other customer but for the store to openly display window signs indicating they support LGBT that then is openly forcing others to accept this.
Going further to the restroom situation, for them most small stores have a single restroom for one person which can be locked, use that and when finished leave, no problem but to share the rest room is not correct. Many of the larger stores have three restrooms already male, female and a third for disabled and baby changing which are lockable and for one person use so then they can utilize that third restroom and eliminate the upset and animosity being displayed nationally so much.
In closing regarding Church of the Rockies, you misquoted and misread the facts. COTR is a Church as previously mentioned one of the many in Red Lodge who only do not wish this to affect the community in any negative way.
Personally in my own dealings with Church of the Rockies I have found them to display true Christian values and care for the community and surrounding areas and a very hospitable congregation.
A tiny pebble thrown into a pool of water creates more ripples it grows. A snowball rolling down the hill increases, it grows and by allowing and accepting and passing the NDR in Red Lodge, or in fact anywhere, is only that pebble in the stream. It would grow and what would be the next vote for? LGBT flags along the streets of Red Lodge?
Some references for you in case you are not aware of a book called The Bible or if Christ has not come into your life.
