The Red Lodge Police Department is having a community contest to design a new sleeve 'patch'. The current patch is about to be retired, so The Red Lodge Police Department invites you to submit your designs and/or distinctly descriptive ideas for the next new police patch. We're seeking unique ideas, relevant to law enforcement, and relevant to our city. Sketches, drawings, computerized designs, all acceptable ways to enter your patch, emblem, or crest idea. Describe colors, borders, what items might be on the face of the patch. Enter as an individual, a group, or even a school class project. The winner will receive $100, courtesy of Chief of Police Jason Wells. The final patch chosen may be exactly as submitted to our contest, or the winning entry combined with design input from the city. Winning patch will become property of the City of Red Lodge, and contest closes, Sept. 15. Entries can be mailed to city hall, dropped off at city hall, or emailed to Chief Wells at jwells@cityofredlodge.com That was the 'fine print'. Sew, go for it and Patch It Up, for our police department We need your name and phone number to contact the winner.
